The Isle of Wight National Landscape: AONB Management Plan is the result of 20 months of consultation with a partnership of over 70 organisations as well as the wider public. The Plan was approved by Natural England on 27th September 2024 and adopted by the Isle of Wight Council at their full council meeting on 20th November 2024.

All photos and artwork in the Plan are the output of the project Creative Landscapes; a vision of the Isle of Wight National Landscape by young islanders. This is the first time the Plan contains images only by young people . The project was facilitated by a broad range of talented creative producers, cultural organisations and local artists. The fantastic selection of photography and artwork throughout the Management Plan wonderfully illustrates the data, policies and amplifies the important messages within.

With accessibility in mind the Management Plan has been produced as an online resource.
